Calvary Pines Baptist Church is a classic country church -- built from the pines that were felled when clearing the property. We call it "The Come as You are Church" because you can come to sevices in a suit or jeans, skirt or slacks, whatever you're comfortable with. We're not here to inspect clothes, but to worship the Lord and to get closer to Him.

A former deputy sheriff, Pastor Finch and his wife also serve with Rural Home Missionary Association. RHMA works to help small churches in rural areas.

Take US Highway 2 East of Cohasset, turn north on County Road 62 (East Bass Lake Road), six miles to the corner of County Road 256 (North Bass Lake Road). From Highway 38, take County Road 256 (North Bass Lake Road) two miles west to County Road 62.

Country Gospel Music In The Pines

Country Gospel Music in the Pines A monthly Saturday evening country open platform gospel jam session dedicated to praising the Lord in music.

Everyone is welcome to take part -- just sign up with the emcee. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m., with a half hour break for refreshments. Refreshments are provided -- free. There's no admission charge and no offering is taken! Call for the date of the next session or other information: (218) 326-1041 or (218) 256-0101.
