Clinch Cutter

Clinch Cutter

The Clinch Cutter is a blacksmithing tool consisting of a blade on one end and a pritchel on the other. The blade is used to cut or lift the bent-over "clinch" at the end of a horseshoe nail. The pritchel is used for opening or resizing horseshoe nail holes. The pritchel on a clinch cutter also does an excellent job of breaking up a "snowball" on a horse's foot.
