Question: What sort of weather can you expect later on?
You answered: Cool and dry
The scene has obviously been under the influence of high pressure -- which is moving to the east. As that system moves out and a cold front takes its place the wind will swing to the north and usher in cooler temperatures. When the warm and cool air masses collide, those cooler temperatures will start squeezing any available moisture out of the warm air... not a recipe for dry weather!
